Whiskey Cocktails M-P

Manhattan

1½ oz. blended whiskey
½ oz. vermouth

Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add whiskey and vermouth.
Stir.
Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with cherry.

Manhattan (dry)

1½ oz. blended whiskey
¼ oz. vermouth

Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add whiskey and dry vermouth.
Stir.
Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with an olive.
(Note: If serving “on the rocks,” stir in a rocks glass filled with ice, garnish and serve)

Manhattan (perfect)

1½ oz. blended whiskey
1/8 oz. dry vermouth
1/8 oz. sweet vermouth

Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add whiskey and both vermouths.
Stir.
Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a twist of lemon.
(Note: If serving “on the rocks,” stir in a rocks glass filled with ice, garnish and serve)

New World

1½ oz. blended whiskey
½ oz. lime juice
1 tsp. grenadine

Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add blended whiskey, lime juice and grenadine.
Shake.
Pour into chilled rock glass.
Garnish with a twist of lime.

New York Cocktail

1½ oz. blended whiskey
½ tsp. powdered sugar
½ oz. lime juice
dash grenadine

Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add whiskey, sugar, lime juice and grenadine.
Shake.
Pour into chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a twist of orange.

Oh Henry

1 ½ oz. blended whiskey
¼ oz. Benedictine
3 oz. ginger ale

Fill a rocks glass with ice.
Add whiskey, Benedictine,and ginger ale.
Stir.
Garnish with a slice of lemon.

Preakness

1½ oz. blended whiskey
¼ oz. benedictine
¼ oz. sweet vermouth
dash Angostura bitters

Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add blended whiskey, Benedictine, sweet vermouth and bitters.
Shake.
Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
