Chocolate
Martini
1 oz. vodka
1 oz. white crème de cacao
1 tsp. cocoa powder
1 tsp. sugar
Combine sugar and cocoa powder.
Dampen the rim of the cocktail glass and then coat rim
with the cocoa powder.
Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add vodka and white crème de cacao.
Shake.
Strain into the chocolate rimmed cocktail glass.
French Martini
1½ oz. vodka
½ oz. Chambord
1 ½ oz. pineapple juice
Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add vodka, Chambord and pineapple juice.
Shake.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Salt and Pepper Martini
1 ½ oz. gin
¾ oz. lemon juice
¾ oz. grapefruit juice
1 oz. sugar syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add gin, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, syrup and bitters.
Shake.
Strain into a salt-rimmed cocktail glass.
Smoky Martini
1 ½ oz. gin
dash scotch whisky
Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add gin and scotch.
Stir.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
Saketini
1½ oz. gin
¼ oz. dry sake
¼ oz. orange curacao
Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add gin, sake and orange curacao.
Shake.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Upside Down Martini
1½ oz. dry vermouth
1 oz. gin
Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add gin and vermouth.
Shake.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
Vesper (the original
James Bond martini)
1½ oz. vodka
½ oz. gin
¼ oz. dry vermouth
Fill mixing glass with ice.
Add vodka, gin and vermouth.
Shake, do not stir!
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with an orange peel.
